Max Valdes

Mr. Valdes is the former Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President of First American Financial Corporation, a New York Stock Exchange-listed company. Prior to his retirement, Mr. Valdes held numerous financial positions over his 25 year tenure at First American Financial Corporation, including Controller and Chief Accounting Officer. 

He currently serves on the board of directors and audit committee of First American Trust Company. Mr. Valdes brings deep financial and management expertise to the board of directors, along with significant experience in public company reporting and a strong understanding of audit committee and board governance practices. 

Mr. Valdes is a CPA and earned a BA degree in Business Administration at the California State University, Fullerton.
