Jon Schulz

Jon Schulz is Chief Marketing Officer at Viant Technology (NASDAQ: DSP), the independent AI-powered programmatic platform. In his role, Jon leads brand and growth marketing, product marketing, creative services, and corporate communications — and has shaped Viant’s strategic and market positioning through its NASDAQ listing and evolution into one of advertising’s most recognized buy-side platforms.

With more than 30 years of experience across digital marketing, big data, measurement, and automotive, Jon brings a practitioner’s perspective and thought leadership to some of the industry’s most pressing challenges. Before Viant, he led Digital Marketing & CRM at Ford Motor Company where he spent 12 years in various sales and marketing roles. He joined Viant in 2008 and has held senior roles across enterprise sales and business development before becoming CMO in 2014.

Jon lectures at the University of Michigan Ross School of Business, holds an M.B.A. from Indiana University, and actively advises automotive technology startups. In his free time, he enjoys sports, Northern Michigan lake life, and volunteering in his community.
