ARCHITECTURE

Adrian Witas, after graduating from the Silesian University of Technology became passionate about software engineering. Throughout his career, he has worked for media companies like BBC and Adviva.

Before stepping up to the chief architect role at Viant, Adrian was responsible for leading the ad runtime team and facilitating constant platform growth.

In his role today, Adrian supports the platform team. The platform team constantly innovates, focusing on performance and scalability.
Viant faces unique challenges in our ad system that handles hundreds of billions of requests daily on the cloud. Some of these involve transferring and transforming hundreds of TB of data, while others ensure predictive ad serving performance under a few ms, to name a few. We are GoLang and open source enthusiasts in our vibrant team.

When away from Viant, Adrian loves spending time with his two sons, Frank, and Ben, having lots of fun by getting them into music and swimming.
