Viant protects your data by following industry practices to ensure the confidentiality, integrity and availability of data across our systems. Our data security measures are complemented by audits and adherence to industry standards and regulations.
Viant and its partners provide notice and choice in accordance with applicable laws and self-regulatory standards before sharing data. The platform does not accept information that directly identifies individuals, but instead utilizes pseudonymized identifiers (e.g., cookie IDs, device IDs, hashed emails) for audience targeting and campaign measurement, with clients retaining control over their first-party data usage. If a consumer opts out at the publisher level, SSPs are required to pass the opt-out to prevent bidding. Viant’s Bidstream Dashboard offers transparency into programmatic identifiers, including Household ID™ Technology, providing advertisers with insights into data availability across channels.
